Spotted recently at a used car lot.

Kinja'd!!!

Pardon the half-baked potato quality, taken on my phone from the passenger’s seat of a moving vehicle and cropped in Paint.

Guess it was bound to happen that someone would lift a Cayenne.

It looks like a concept car at that height

I wonder if what they’ve done to it actually has improved it’s off road capabilities.

I mean, the pickups on each side don’t exactly look like brodozers, so it’s possible.

I would have upgraded the wheels and tires, though. Nothing flashy, just something that’ll handle trails, rocks, and even jumps pretty decently.

Don’t usually see lifted Cayennes, usually the opposite. Whether or not they took it off road remains a mystery but I doubt it.

That would make sense - unfortunately there’s a good chance with it being around here that it was on its way to becoming a donk rather than offroad-capable.

Thank you! Someone else on here that knows the difference between a brodozer and a lifted truck.

The Cayenne is available with air suspension. I’m almost convinced that the used car lot has it set at the highest setting. Maybe to fit in with the other trucks?

In fact, with the amount of lift in the suspension, it looks like they tried to go Transsyberia with it.

Interesting - I didn’t know that. Hopefully that’s all it is, but still...

I don’t know what the technology was like in 2004, but it could be in ‘transport mode’. I’ve seen a fair amount of Volvo’s fresh off the truck that are weirdly tall. It just so happened to be some sort of factory suspension setting to prevent damages or whatever.

So theoretically, you could be dealing with some cheapo Cayenne that was bought at auction, but was taken to the stealership by the most thorough truck driver.

That’s just the air suspension cranked to max height.

You wouldn’t want to drive on road like that, but the Cayenne is actually pretty capable off, as long as you put other tires on.
